The Story Behind the Name
We believe that names carry significance. We wanted a name that embodies our beliefs and philosophy. The word ‘cadre’ signifies a “small group of people who have been specially chosen, trained, and organized for a particular purpose” (Collins dictionary). Cadre Electric LLC, is comprised of a small group of trained individuals who strive towards excellence.
Cadre Electric LLC is an owner-operated company. We want to grow in size only as quickly as a strong foundation is laid. We emphasize setting systems in place to make our work repeatable with accuracy and efficiency. As we grow, we carefully choose high-quality individuals who share our goal of precision and prioritizing quality over production.

Cadre Electric LLC was started out of a desire to provide quality work and honest pricing. We’ve been frustrated when contractors extend a low bid only to highjack the price after landing the job, and we don’t want that to happen to you. Although unforeseen complications can be unavoidable with any job, we strive to account for these by taking the time to clearly outline the scope and expectations on each project to minimize significant surprises, financial or otherwise.
Who We Are
Owner-operator, Dakota Purvis, has been familiar with construction sites as long as he can remember. With experience in various trades (construction, flooring, roofing, siding), he brings a unique perspective to the electrical trade. This understanding of other aspects of home construction helps guide him when working with difficult remodels and new home builds alike. Dakota also has an innate ability to envision a 3D image of the job in his mind, taking account of where plumbing and structural components exist spatially in relation to his work. This ability also enables him to excel at trouble shooting, organizing jobs, and working with customers to draft the layout for an excellent finished product. Dakota is a conscientious worker, and will work through the completion of each job while keeping the interests of customers at the forefront. Dakota’s methodical, systems-based approach enables him to foresee and prevent many complications before they arise, to provide a finished product that brings satisfaction.
